AFTER-CARE

Eyebrow

DAY 1:

Once you arrive home after the procedure, clean brows  with the soap that was provided.  gently TAP dry; every 2 hours you will wash your brows again (only do this 2 more times). This is to wash away any lymphatic liquid (clear yellowish liquid) that may have built up. After washing your brows a total of 3 TIMES -- Using a new q-tip apply healing oil to the brows in a a very THIN layer. Keeping the area clean will prevent scabbing, which will remove the pigment. Make sure to apply a light layer of healing balm morning/night and as needed throughout the day, to brows for at least 5-7 days. Do not over apply healing balm! For oily skin, only apply the oil 2 time a day no more . Wait 24-48 hours before showering if possible so your brows have time to build a protective layer over it. When you do shower, try to your limit your time in there and avoid hot water as it creates too much steam for your freshly tattooed eyebrows. Water and steam opens up your pores and can result in loss of pigment and patchiness. Steam and hot baths can also draw out impurities from your skin, including tattoo ink!

DAY 2-3:

Wash your brows 2 times a day [oily skin – 1 time a day preferably

morning] using your clean fingers, then lightly dab a light coat of the after care oil over the area during the day and as needed; at a minimum of 2 times (do not over apply and do not use any aggressive movements when applying).

If the area is not lightly moisturized your tattoo will dry out, crack and really itch (some itchiness is normal and is a common part of the healing process)

If you have oily skin, only apply ointment 2 times a day and ONLY if they feel dry through the day you may apply more. Avoid any and all products on the tattooed area as it may cause an infection, this includes makeup on the eyebrows!

Please do not touch the area with your hands unless they are clean!! and make sure to keep your hair away from the area until it has completely healed. Avoid any over hydration of the eyebrows (i.e. working out, swimming, etc.) until the tattooed area has healed and completely peeled/flaked off. Also avoid drinking excess alcohol, smoking etc. as it will slow down the healing of the wounds.

DAY 4-5:

Continue to wash and moisturize your brows as day 2-3.

You will notice that there is scabbing and it will begin to fall on its own.DO NOT PICK AT IT. if you do, more pigment could be pulled out.

The scabbing is to be expected, normal customers lose 20-50% of the color initially implanted The lines that were previously a little tense will soften. People with extremely oily skin will have more blurred results in some details than people with dry skin. During the touch-up more detailed work will be done.

DAY 5-10:

Continue to wash and moisturize your brows.

Most of the color should be washed out of your brows. But you have become accustomed to having a darker color. Once all the color is dropped, do not be discouraged. Look at the before and after photos to compare. If the color disappears completely, it will reappear a little later. Whatever happens, just remember that the result is achieved with 2 sessions and the details cannot be done until the 4-8 week touch up. Contact your doctor if you have the following symptoms: fever, red lines coming out of the eyebrow in the direction of the heart or oozes something color with bad smell.
